Jennifer Nieset, Physical Therapist
Certified Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) Spine Specialist
Jennifer believes a full posture assessment is critical to identifying the root cause of a client’s problem. Her studies, certifications and experience focus on this philosophy as an avenue to treating the whole person and improving the way clients move, work, and enjoy life. Jennifer earned her physical therapy degree from Cleveland State University in 1999, after graduating from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Biological Sciences. There, she competed as a Division 1 track and field and cross-country athlete.
Jennifer’s personal passion—running and family, which keeps her “running” with four children. Her professional passion is treating spine patients, leading her to earn prestigious credentialing in the McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy®. During her career, she has integrated high-level manual skills based on the MyoKinesthetic System to balance the nervous system, relieve pain, and restore mobility.
She has created a community at Fit 4 Life Physical Therapy that values mind, body, and spirit. This includes a rewarding wellness coaching endeavor that is empowering Fit 4 Life Physical Therapy clients to think beyond pain relief and to experience healthier lifestyles. She is married to her soulmate, who also enjoys running and coaching

How We Work
Unlike volume-based physical therapy settings, Fit 4 Life Physical Therapy takes a personalized approach with dedicated, one-on-one visits. You won’t get shuffled to an assistant or left to perform exercises on your own. We intentionally schedule generous appointments that allow time for addressing your concerns and answering questions.
Fit 4 Life Physical Therapy Is A Direct Access Provider – You Don’t Need A Doctor’s Prescription To Get Physical Therapy.
Rather than masking pain with pills or agreeing to a major surgery, try physical therapy first at Fit 4 Life Physical Therapy and feel the difference.
McKenzie Method® Certified Therapist
Many of our clients tell us they thought they tried everything for the pain in their neck, back or sciatica. Then they found the Fit 4 Life Physical Therapy team, and our progressive approach to physical therapy, founded in the proven McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy®, as well as additional methods, such as MyoKinesthetic System and Graston® Techniques. Aside from high-level certifications that set Fit 4 Life Physical Therapy apart from typical physical therapy office settings, our approach is refreshingly personal.
After the first time we meet, you’ll leave with a therapy plan, targeted goals, and peace of mind.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Manual Therapy?
Manual Therapy is defined as “application of an accurately determined and specifically directed manual force to the body, in order to improve mobility in areas that are restricted; in joints, in connective tissues or in skeletal muscles.”
Skilled manual therapy techniques can make immediate improvements in pain and mobility … creating an opportunity for greater movement, strength gains, and healing response.
All therapists at Fit 4 LIfe Physical Therapy have had extensive post-baccalaureate training in manual therapy, and it is this hands-on approach that is responsible for much of the success and results of our patient care.
